Seadex hermes is a very simple, extendable logging library. It was orginally developed as part of libyasmine (Seadex's state machine framework project). It was developed because libyasmine was supposed to be easy to use and easy to deploy without introducing a third party dependency. The goal was to avoid that a user of libyasmine would have to link against anything else but yasmine herself.

hermes can be easily extended to support custom loggers (e.g. for syslog or for the Windows event log).
